His guidance as a director was incredibly intentional, deep and supporting of me as an actor in the process of creating. When Donald directs, he encourages the actor to find that precision, intentionality and the integration of movement, text, soundscape, actor's voice and the visual effects. In this process the sense of actor's presence emerges. Donald guides you with such playfulness and lightness. He has the precious talent of seeing both tiny details and the big picture at the same time.
