The Athens Epidaurus Festival dedicates this cycle of LESSONS to the 90 years since the birth of the founder of ΟDIN Teatret Eugenio Barba.

The lessons are part of the interdisciplinary art and research Programme PARODOS which is funded by the Greek Ministry of Culture's 'International Network of Ancient Drama'.

Participation Fee: 3.800 DKK (approx. €520) incl. lodging in shared rooms. Food will be prepared and paid collectively by the participants (not included in the fee).

A three phase workshop/project aimed at being part of the site specific event VINTERLYS in Ringkøbing-Skjern at the end of February 2027.

The work will focus on several aspects: physical and vocal training, the development of actions inspired by the use of an object, spacial awareness and dynamism. The work will aslo include stilt training and flag manipulation for an outdoor spectacular performance.

Throughout the work each participant will be encouraged and supported in their personal process opening up hidden meanings. The training evolves from the creation of personal material and culminates with a montage, an outdoor performance, to be presented as part of the Ringkøbing-Skjern VINTERLYS-festival to take place in February 2027.

Participants who are comitted to participating in all three phases will be prioritized.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Participation Fee: 4.500 DKK (approx. €600) incl. lodging in shared rooms. Food will be prepared and paid collectively by the participants (not included in the fee).
Application Deadline: 10 October 2025.
Payment Deadline: 15 October 2025.
Working Language: English (Italian can be spoken)
Working Hours: 09:00 - 12:00 and 13:30 - 16:30.
